Impact on clinical worsening

  • Tracleer® significantly reduced the rate of clinical worsening* (figure 8), a morbidity-mortality end-point suggesting a direct impact in the disease progression.2

*Clinical worsening was a morbidity-mortality end-point combining: death, lung transplantation, hospitalisation for PAH, discontinuation of therapy due to lack of clinical improvement or worsening of PAH, Initiation of epoprostenol therapy, atrial septostomy.

  • Echocardiographic evaluations of the effects of Tracleer® suggest a decrease in the rate of disease progression in patients with PAH35
