By Plane
The international airport Basel / Mulhouse is located nearby Actelion in Allschwil. Please make sure you take the Swiss exit at the passport control.
You can either take a taxi or take public transportation (see below).
By Bus from the EuroAirport
Take bus No. 50 direction train station SBB
Exit at the stop Kannenfeldplatz
Take bus No. 38 direction Allschwil
Exit at the stop Im Brühl
Walk along the street Hegenheimermattweg. Actelion's main entrance is at number 91.
By Train
There are two train stations in Basel - the Swiss train station 'SBB' and the German train station 'Badischer Bahnhof'. The train station SBB is the nearest one.
From the train station SBB you can either take a taxi or use public transportation (see 'By Tram or Bus' below).
By Tram or Bus from the Train Station SBB
Take tram No. 1 direction Dreirosenbrücke
Exit at the stop Brausebad
Take tram No. 6 direction Allschwil Dorf
Exit at the stop Gartenstrasse
Walk down the street Grabenring and turn right into Hegenheimermattweg. Follow the street Hegenheimermattweg. Actelion's main entrance is at number 91.
By Tram or Bus from Basel City / Schifflände
Take Bus No. 38 direction Allschwil Dorf, exit at the stop Im Brühl.
Walk along the street Hegenheimermattweg. Actelion's main entrance is at number 91.
By Car Coming from France
Turn right after the border into Flughafenstrasse. Do not go straight direction "Basel City", but turn right into Luzernerring (direction "Basel Süd").
At the second traffic light, turn right into Hegenheimerstrasse.
Take the second street to the left, which is Belforterstrasse.
Continue straight, the street changes the name to Hegenheimermattweg when entering Allschwil.
On the left hand side, you see various sports grounds, on the right hand side gardens. Stay on Hegenheimermattweg, Actelion's main entrance is at number 91.
By Car Coming from Bern/Zürich
Take motorway N2 When coming closer to Basel follow the "Airport" signs.
Leave the highway at the exit "Airport" Cross the Rhein bridge (Dreirosenbrücke).
Follow the sign Basel-West (main street, Voltastrasse - Luzernerring).
At the second traffic light in front of the Felix-Platter-Spital (a huge hospital complex on the left side at the traffic light), turn right into Hegenheimerstrasse following the signs into the industrial zone Am Bachgraben and the swimming pool Bachgraben.
Take the second street to the left, which is Belforterstrasse Continue straight, the street changes the name to Hegenheimermattweg when entering Allschwil.
