Actelion’s four Strategic Principles describe the fundamental priorities required to reach the long-term business objective – to become one of the top biopharmaceutical companies in the world:

 
 
 
 


1. Follow innovation where it leads
We pursue internal and external R&D opportunities while balancing the perspectives of scientific merit, unmet medical need and commercial potential.

2. Retain the value of innovation
We develop projects as far as possible within the company, thereby considering partnerships for strategic and/or financial benefit. When partnerships are implemented, we strive to book an appropriate proportion of sales to further expand R & D.

3. Excel in sales and marketing
It is our aim to expand the innovative, highly experienced commercial team to drive growth.

4. Retain core values, culture and independence
We seek to enhance our culture of Innovation, Trust and Teamwork and Open Communication to foster an enthusiastic and stimulating environment for employees and company development. At the same time we want to maintain our Results Driven Orientation.
